The journey

From first message to trophy on the wall.

  1. 12+ months out

    Dream it, and reach out

Tell Danie your target species and rough dates. He will help you shape a realistic plan, answer every question honestly, and hold your spot. No pressure, no obligation.

  2. 10 – 12 months out

    Book your flights

International flights open around 330 days ahead, and the best hunting months fill up fast. Booking early gets you the best fares and the dates you want.

  3. 6 months out

    Prep and paperwork

We begin any hunting permits and CITES paperwork, and send you a simple prep-and-packing guide. Your only job is to shoot your bow and get excited.

  4. 1 month out

    Final details

Confirm your gear, travel insurance and any medication. We take care of every in-country detail, from airport pickup to camp.

  5. The hunt

    You arrive, and you hunt

We collect you from the airport and walk you through arrival. From that moment, all you have to do is hunt. Everything else is handled.

  6. After the hunt

    Your trophy comes home

We manage the dip, pack and shipping to your taxidermist and keep you updated at every step, until your trophy is finally on your wall.

What it costs

The practical bits

Everything you're wondering about, answered.

Getting there

Direct flights run from the US and Europe into Johannesburg and other hubs, roughly 15 to 17 hours from the US East Coast. We meet you on arrival, so there is no scrambling in a strange airport.

Passports & visas

You need a passport valid for at least six months with blank pages. Most US and EU visitors do not need a visa for a short South African hunting trip. We advise you on the exact requirements for your destination.

Travelling with your bow

Your bow flies as checked luggage in a hard case, and most hunters bring their own setup. We send a simple packing-and-travel guide, and walk you through the easy bow clearance on arrival.

Permits & CITES

Hunting permits, any special-weapon permits, and CITES paperwork for certain species are all handled and correctly timed by us. You never have to chase a form or a deadline.

Health & safety

Many of our concessions are malaria-free, and Africa is far safer than most first-timers expect. We brief you on a few simple precautions well ahead of time, so you arrive relaxed.

Life in camp

Expect comfortable lodges or classic tented camps, excellent food, and genuine hospitality. Non-hunting partners and children are welcome, and there is plenty for them to do. Many hunters make it a trip the whole family remembers.

You don't plan it alone.

Tell Danie your dream and we build the whole trip around you, so the only decision left is when to draw.
